Big win for Somerville at Australasian Reporting Awards

Somerville Community Services was awarded a Gold Award at the 2016 Australasian Reporting Awards Presentation Dinner.

The Awards are run by Australasian Reporting Awards Limited, an independent not-for-profit organisation supported by volunteer professionals from the business community and professional bodies concerned about the quality of financial and business reporting.

The Awards provide an opportunity for organisations to benchmark their reports against the ARA criteria. The Awards are open to all organisations that produce an annual report. They are a measure of the standard achieved – they are not a competition.

An Annual Report not only helps Somerville communicate its activities and accomplishments during the past year but it also recognises special people including staff, donors and volunteers. Although the objective is not to receive awards, awards do provide an opportunity for Somerville to benchmark its report against National and International criteria and in turn achieve continuous improvement in both quality reporting and delivery of service.

The report was produced in-house with editing and graphic design by Community Business Bureau (CBB). A big thank you to all those involved in the preparation of the award winning Annual Report.
