Katherine Cinema Day
With the support of the Katherine Town Council and the Northern Territory Office of Youth Affairs, Somerville’s Katherine Youth and Family Services recently hosted a Cinema Day.
The invitation was extended to children and their families from Katherine and the surrounding communities to enjoy an afternoon with each other to watch some of the latest family-friendly movie releases.
Families greatly enjoyed the experience of being at the movies together, as many are simply unable to afford such an activity for their entire family.
Somerville would also like to say a big thank you the Katherine cinema manager who was a great supporter of the event, showed generous flexibility, service provision and interacted with families which added to the enjoyable experience of those in attendance.
