Somerville participates in Darwin 2016 Ladies Ambrose Golf Day

Somerville were invited to enter a team of four in the 7th Annual Ladies Ambrose Golf Day. The event, held on 8th July 2016, was organized by Business and Professional Women (BPW) Darwin at the Gardens Park Golf Links.

Anya Soares, Victoria Large, Vicki Borzi and Lisa Douglas were amongst the female golfers, who ranged from novices to professionals. Everyone was up for a bit of fun, resulting in a fantastic afternoon of networking, laughs and even a hole in one (or four or five)!

The day raised money for the NT Working Women’s Centre – a free not-for-profit service that assists vulnerable women in the NT who experience workplace problems like sexual harassment, pregnancy discrimination, bullying, unfair dismissal and the impact of domestic violence on work. The organisation has approximately 3,500 contacts each year.

The afternoon finished with an auction, raffle and announcement of winners. We’d like to say a big thank you to all the organisers and sponsors for running such a great event!
